Rendezyou - iCal-integrated event scheduling and coordination
Here's how it works
1. Create a rendezyou from iCal events. |
2. Let your friends vote, and see who's coming. |
Your friends will vote for or against each of your suggestions: OK for "I'm available" or "Sounds good", NO for "This sucks" or "I won't be able to come". You can follow their status directly in iCal or on your rendezyou's page (or be notified by mail). |
3. Decide on a suggestion. |
When enough of your friends have voted, choose one of the suggestions and establish it as final. Your friends will be notified of your decision, and the fixated appointment will appear on everybody's calendar. |
Features
Stay up-to-date with your personal Rendezyou calendar
Your personal Rendezyou calendar contains all events that you have suggested or that you have been invited to. Whenever a suggestion is established as final for a given rendezyou, the other suggestions are removed to keep your calendar uncluttered.
Invite your non-Mac friends
All they need is a web browser. Your friends get an e-mail with a link to your rendezyou's web page, where they can vote on your suggestions.
Google Calendar, Outlook, Sunbird/Lightning support
While the Rendezyou client for creating rendezyous currently only supports iCal, users of other calendar applications can benefit from using Rendezyou as well. Besides subscribing to your personal Rendezyou calendar, you can also import a rendezyou's events into your calendar app.
